German Roller Competition At National Cage Bird Show

Richard May, German Roller Section Manager, did an excellent job preparing teams for competition and keeping track of all the details!

Teams are stacked in the judging room and sing for twenty minutes.

Almin Omic, Roller Judge, evaluates each team and assigns individual scores to each tour sang.

After singing, the teams are brought back to the holding room and the cabinet doors are open for all to view.

At times, teams that have already competed are stacked in the holding room for all to enjoy.

The German Roller exhibitors and judge shared a table at the banquet. Richard May was so happy when they announced that he had won the Higgins again this year for the highest scoring team!

David Bopp had the highest scoring single bird and competed against the highest scoring Timbrado and American Singer.

David won the prestige Best Song Bird In Show Award!

Thank you for posting on the National. There were great birds and great friends and not enough time to absorb it all. Your Pictures and comments are a visit back to the show. Deb
