It was just a couple of days old and I assumed that it was smothered by its larger siblings or mother. I will definately do some more investigating. As a precaution, I dust the cage trays under the paper, and you can dip perch ends in the dust as well.<br />I have often powdered window sills and base boards to keep creepy crawlies out. Tomorrow, I think I will take your experience to heart and dust.
